Eccellente, Delizioso!

We decided out of the blue to go try Eataly. We have always wanted to go, but it felt too fancy and expensive at the time. But when my husband lost his job and we were trying to get our mind straight, we decided to meet our friend to take our mind off things. We were at Dubai Festival City at the time and were thinking of where to head for dinner and finally came up with the name Eataly. We headed there with a decided menu in mind, my friend and I were ordering ravioli and my husband was ordering lasagna. We followed that plan and went ahead.

As we entered the restaurant the first thing that we saw was Panettone. My husband felt like a child in front of the whole shelf filled with it and so did I. There were also other food ingredients around there, but nothing interested us more than the Panettone. We knew we were going to buy one of those while leaving from there.

We ordered the food and they gave us complementary bread and butter. It was sour bread and it tasted great with butter and olive oil. We went ahead and ordered the menu we had decided on earlier and I have to say, we really enjoyed it. We were seated at the balcony and the weather was amazing. While leaving, we got ourselves the Panettone. To be honest, we haven’t tried it yet. I feel happy looking at sit in the kitchen, waiting to be eaten. The thought in itself is very exciting. I am in no hurry to have it either. But, when I do try it, I will surely let you guys know how it went.
