One of my favorite things to do once the weather gets better in the UAE is to drive to Al Qudra Lakes a little before sunset, set up camp and watch the sun set into the lakes. It amazing how the sky changes color and the birds flock together and fly over the horizon to their place of rest. Its difficult to explain that beauty and how I actually felt at that point. But the end of a day and a beginning of a new one brings in new hope into our lives. Its a very refreshing feeling.

There is something about setting camp and sleeping outdoors, that brings a new of perspective into our lives. Watching the stars twinkle, trying to figure out the patterns they form and feeling mesmerized by it all. Its good to get a feeling that your off-grid. Being one with nature once in a while is good for our mental health too.

Waking up early and watching the sun rise, its something we should all experience, especially from locations that actually highlights its beauty more.

In UAE, there are many locations where you can take in the beauty. High mountains and lots of wadi’s. UAE might be a majority of desert, but there is a beauty in watching the sun rise and set in the deserts.
